I have been a little bored with the typical energy bite recipes out there. So I decided to mix up my own version a couple weeks ago with a spin to bring life back into this amazing nutrient dense treat that can replace any craving you have for a sugary snack! It’s awesome to take on the go, enjoy after a meal and to give to your children instead of sugary snacks! We love to keep them in the freezer which is a key part of the process and it makes for a great cool snack in the hot Georgia summer and they are so easy to make! Enjoy! Mix all ingredients below in a food processor. We prefer all organic ingredients:

20 dates soaked in warm water for 20 min

1/8 c hemp seeds

1/4 c peanut butter

1/4 c cashew butter

1 c coconut

1.5 c almond meal

1/4 c cacao powder

1/4 c cashew milk

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 tsp sea salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Optional: if you love the taste of cinnamon you can add one drop of doTERRA cinnamon essential oil to the cashew milk before you add to the mixture!
